I can't say how much Coco is a constant source of inspiration for me. I don't know how many times I've watched Coco Avant Chanel (despite soooome inaccuracies) and fall in love with the movie each time. Is there/can there be a movie about her brief involvement with the Nazis and her romance?
Coco Chanel is a fashion designer that is the only one on Time's 100 influential people. She designed fashion for women that was sporty chic and departed from the super formal Victorian fashions of the corset, crazy huge hats and constricting skirts. Her mother died at a young age and her father sent his children away. Her and her sister were sent to an orphanage, but that is where she learnt how to sew.
And her famed love life? I just love her quote about Arthur and Balsan: "two gentlemen were outbidding for my hot little body." I could go on, everything about this woman leaves me charmed!
