Do you have a short story about growing up with video games?
DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2019
Let’s create an anthology of stories about growing up with video and tabletop games! Please query below, do NOT send your full story in the body. We will only consider works based on the synopsis provided and contact you for your full work. The synopsis should be no more than 1,000 words. This is not meant to be an elevator pitch synopsis. Please outline your entire story from beginning to end to showcase the story is free of plot holes and is structurally sound.
5000 words max, any genre. If it’s more than that but you really want to submit, please query. This is a small operation, so at the most the first edition will have 5 stories in it.
NO NON-FICTION OR ARTICLES.
Poetry will be considered.
Diverse works are encouraged. We don’t want just vanilla stories about gamerhood - give us a perspective no one has seen before. If you are part of a marginalized group, please identify if you are comfortable in the author bio. Nata De Coco has a history of working with artists that identify as LGBTQIA+, feminist and POC.
ARE YOU AN ARTIST OR WANT TO HELP IN ANOTHER WAY?
Please use the form below to contact me. Instead of title/word count/synopsis, enter in your title (e.g. Artist, editor, etc) Put as much info about you in the bio and link to your portfolio.
